I bought this because I wanted a more stable connection than Wi-Fi. I have gigabit internet, but the wi-fi signal dropped, had to go through multiple walls, which is bad if you're gaming or streaming. I needed over 70ft of Cat6 and the price was right. This is a pretty good indoor cable. It's not very heavy and probably won't take much damage, but it's fine for indoor use along carpets. Be careful when installing as the cable is so thin that getting a nail in it will most likely ruin it. I do like the fact that it's flat instead of round though. I've managed to just tuck it under the upholstery most of the way around my house and you can't even see it. The supplied clips came in handy in spots where I had to climb walls or over doors, although (side note) they are a little big for the cable so they don't nail flush because the cable is so thin. However, this is not the main problem. In general I am very satisfied with the purchase.
