good idea. ugly sponge.
These sponges are foams that aren't very absorbent and aren't strong enough to clean a plate unless you're using an abrasive cleaning side, which is scratchy but not particularly effective. In addition, it's very stiff, so if you have to fold or bend the sponge when cleaning, it becomes very clumsy.
