Although I managed to get this to work in my situation, you should know that the plastic for the case with the USB connector and the corresponding ones large nuts provided to fix it in the dashboard are not hard plastic. They are soft enough. Therefore, when you assemble them and tighten the nut on the main plate, it cannot be tightened very tightly. Even when tightened by hand, it gets tight and then just skips the threads. Both nuts do this because they are soft plastic. In order for this to work with any type of durability, I needed to snuggle as tightly as possible without skipping threads or applying hot glue all over the back. So technically it works, but only because of my solution.
