Review on ⚙️ StarTech.com 3 ft. VGA to RCA Cable - High Definition RGB Component - VGA to Component Video Breakout Cable (HD15CPNTMM3) - Black by Edward Freeland

The purpose of purchasing this cable was to output VGA from a video synthesizer to the Black Magic Intensity Shuttle Y-Pb-Pr component input. It did not work. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that to get the desired result I needed some kind of scan converter. I realize this is a pretty specific application, but the description of this cable is missing a lot of information compared to some other similar cables. So buyers beware. This is a small product hence the hassle of returning it. Maybe one day it will be used in another project.
