Outstanding performance for the price

I originally looked at the Benq SW270C (1440p) although I wanted a 4k resolution as I also shoot video. The 4k version of this monitor (SW271C) was about twice as expensive. Then I found out that these monitors don't support 10-bit color. I continued my research and finally came across the Viewsonic VP2786-4K. It was true 10-bit color with a cool dial to use as a colorimeter and 4K resolution. About $200 more than the 1440p Benq SW and about $500-600 less than the comparable 4K Benq SW. Unfortunately, at the time of writing this review, I was unable to find any reviews of this monitor as it is very new. So I took a chance and ordered it. The monitor is packaged very well. It comes with various cables including power, USB-C, DisplayPort, and a few others. The Colorpro wheel is a cool addition and acts as an interface tool for the monitor menu as well as a colorimeter. It currently only has some functionality with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere. It can also be used to calibrate the monitor. Unfortunately, it seems very cheap and turning the dial doesn't even seem to register scrolling in the menu. This is very noticeable when changing the brightness. Another problem I encountered is the short connection cable. The supplied monitor protection is made of felt and can be easily attached to the monitor with magnets. It feels comfortable and is of good quality. The monitor stand is also very high quality, mostly made of metal, which makes it a bit heavy. Just over 9 inches deep and
