As some reviewers wrote - problems with the included disc. It spins but does not read. Left after 5 minutes, came back later. The installation screen appeared 3 minutes after the first 5 minutes. I tried the device several times to see which segments I wanted to record. The software displays what is playing on the tape. I used it about 4 times and then hit record. I watched a short snippet he recorded. Then I returned to the official recording of my VHS. The preview screen stopped working and just showed a gray screen. The device seemed warm so I unplugged it and came back a few hours later. still just a gray screen. I then uninstalled and reinstalled all the software with the same result. I never recorded anything from my old VHS tapes.
