The quality seems high and the carbon fiber is strong and light. I would give it 5 stars but they advertise that it is hydraulic but it is not. Still works well but not as smooth and adjustable as a hydraulic tripod head. The tension adjustment screws aren't as tight as I'd like, but they work. The threads appear to be slightly slack when tightened to lock movement. Tension adjustment for various movement limitations is due to metal-on-metal frictional resistance, which is not the best compared to hydraulic drive. It is easily compatible with Sony FE 200-600mm telephoto lens and Alpha mirrorless camera. Carbon fiber is very durable. Both the pan and tilt axes are friction driven with tension control based on tightening metal bolts onto metal shafts. But for $150, you can hardly expect smooth drive on both axes. This is a good buy if you use telephoto lenses and use pan/tilt motion to track subjects. The main benefit of this type of tripod (or monopod) gimbal is that it can be easily moved to track the subject with one hand on the camera buttons while the other hand is used to simultaneously zoom or focus the lens. This is easier than using a hydraulic tripod head.
