Review on AILINKE Humidifiers Industrial Commercial Humidifier by Djuan Thompson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Less than half "1500ml/h " but still pretty good Overall

This is a really good unit. I'll explain the minus to get it out of the way and then the pros keeping it at 4 stars. Disadvantages: only 44% of the declared. Tip: Don't believe the hype, just count the heads. Well, if you're like me, buy high-performance mist humidifiers and try to get the best bang for your buck in terms of ml/hr versus price. This one says it's getting 1500 ml/hour or about 9.5 gallons per day at max. Now I was a bit skeptical. I've had a few of these and the ultrasound heads are pretty standard and generally all work more or less the same way. 350ml/hour. There are only two of them in this device, but the output of each of them is around 750ml/hour. I was skeptical, but I thought, well, maybe they're a bit bigger or they let through more energy or something. After playing around with all sorts of settings and measuring twice I used 16 liters in 24 hours which is 330ml/hour per head, as you would expect only 660ml/hour. That's 44% of the 1500, hence the "Less than half" headline, and if you really need those 9 gallons a day then that would be a deal breaker. Well, lesson learned! However, the rest of the device is good enough and good enough to balance it for my purposes and I give it only one star. The fan is powerful and quiet, it's nice to have "timer" functions and humidity control functions, and the electronics and remote control are solid and you can easily attach it directly to a 5 gallon cooling tank or bucket, when you cut the hole Right Size It works like this: it has a long plastic tube with a ceramic ball filter that fits quite deep into the plumbing, and an internal pump that automatically sucks in as much water as it needs. Pour in about 4 gallons of water. Deflating and filling the bucket just once a day is very nice. And it's easy to "fancy" and automatically run water from the sink or float valve faucet. It's also nice to have an LED UV light there. Many humidifiers use ceramic balls that put a small amount of silver or other antimicrobial agent in the water near the heads, but in my experience they don't work well and these areas can foam from algae or mold. , and if you're not careful, very slimy. If you hold down the "timer" button it will be constantly illuminated in the UV light and so far seems to do a lot better at keeping it clean, sterile and sanitary. So, again, everything about this device is excellent, except that the performance is about half of what is advertised.

Cons
  • Excessive price
