Comes in an outer box that's well packaged to avoid scuffs and scratches. I would really love it, but there are two things that annoy me like hell. 1) The lid goes in instead of just lying on top which I like. But he makes a noise every time the table he's standing on gets even a little bump. So you constantly hear a clatter when you sit down at the table or touch the table in any way. I managed to fix it, but wish it was made to not do this from the start. 2) It should be slightly wider. The Q-tips (cotton swabs) will only come out from underneath as intended if they are completely straight. Unfortunately, the only way to achieve this is to VERY carefully place them in the container one at a time. It's only pain But even if you take the time to put them down one at a time, after pulling out one or two and dropping a few, some are bound to be askew, causing those to support all the others. The only way to get them is to take the lid off each time and just grab one from the top, or pull out a few and store them in the little lip at the bottom so you can grab them when you need them. This problem could be solved if they make it a bit wider so the tampons don't fit in perfectly so don't get stuck. They just need a LITTLE extra space on each side and they will move around perfectly. In general it works fine, but it's quite annoying. I like this concept so I'm going to look for something broader. If what I said about it didn't annoy you, I would recommend it because it's good acrylic. It is clean, not worn/scratched and looks good. But if, like me, you're going to be bothered by the two things I mentioned, I'd recommend finding a slightly wider one. I can deal with the lid problem, but tampons that get stuck and don't come out of the bottom are too annoying for me. To me, that defeats the purpose of having a lip at the bottom for them to come out of. I could just take the closed one if I have to take the lid off every time.
