Review on Sceptre U278W 4000R 4K DisplayPort Monitor with Built-In Speakers and IPS Technology by Joshua Parmley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Update February 2020 - Both my monitors are dying.

Update February 2020 Well these two monitors are dying. Each of them had bright spots (large artifacts) on the screen in different areas. A screen has stopped working with the Displayport. These screens have been on monitor arms almost since day one and have been moved or even touched. Disappointing. I'll try to get her back through the scepter, see what happens. ------- I bought two of these at once for less than two hundred dollars. everyone. Both arrived unharmed. They race through AMD RX580 8GB from MSI. There are no dead pixels on any display. The viewing angle is very good. These are IPS displays. HDMI 2.0 cables are included - a very decent Phillips screwdriver is included. Nice metal stand. Thin bezels (not super thin, but thin. Very, very good brightness. Only 60Hz - might be an issue for you, but not for me. Fallout 4 looks great in 4K. I don't see any input lag - these are decently fast displays I've had Dell displays (two) at work which are very similar in size and features - available here at Revain for about $300 each - if your not picky or need super accurate colors - they're great - only wear 3 of them Hours. Will they last? Time will tell. For now I can recommend them. They are a THIEF compared to everything else out there right now.

  • ‎China
Cons
  • Screen Tearing: This occurs when the monitor's refresh rate is too slow, causing the image to appear choppy or distorted.
