Review on Circular saw Makita HS7611K silver/green by Adam Kotowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Bought for seasonal work in the country. Made in China, high quality case. My choice may seem impractical, because most Makita adherents buy one of the popular models: HS7601 or 5008MG. In my case, I wanted to have a relatively compact and not too heavy saw, and at the same time - a power reserve for longitudinal cutting of boards into bars; the task for embedding in the table was not set. It is this niche that is occupied by 7611, a complete analogue of 7601, but already 1600W. More than enough power for my purposes, the stock 12-tooth blade cuts large workpieces quickly and almost without chipping. Cutting OSB is a pleasure. I recommend the saw for purchase,

Pros
  • Good saw, very light and powerful. When I started building a house, I realized that I didn’t know how to cut straight with a chainsaw. I end up her 150 bar from 4 sides and then a little bit with a hacksaw, literally 3 movements. A native disc is considered for rough work, but it cuts cleanly and beautifully. Processed 15 cubes of timber, and satisfied. Particularly high quality cable. Usually I immediately remove the cables from all the instruments and put on the KG HL. And here from the factory imported thick frost-resistant cable. Maybe a little short, but for that it is not confused. The fork is also good, does not pop out. I also constantly use the adjustment of the depth of cut, it changes conveniently and quickly. Although I have never used it at 45 degrees. There is also a spout for a vacuum cleaner, and a parallel stop, but I also did not use it.
Cons
  • The price is high, but the most simple and very good instruments have also become more expensive.
