With suitable discs, it is also possible to cut aluminium, non-ferrous metals and their alloys. Lightweight and compact saw is easy to use. The motor is protected from dust. An accessible brush assembly allows you to independently replace carbon brushes without resorting to the help of specialists and without disassembling the housing. The saw is easy to set up: the angle of the saw blade relative to the sole and the depth of cut are set in accordance with the available scales. The set position is fixed by simple quick-clamping mechanisms without the use of third-party tools. A shaft lock is provided for easy and safe blade replacement. To store the hex key on the case there is a special holder. To prevent accidental switching on, the start key is automatically locked in the non-working position: to start work, you must first press the unlock button. To ensure the cleanliness of the working process, it is possible to connect an external dust extractor; for this, a special adapter pipe is installed in the upper part of the casing. To accurately follow the cut line, there is a sight on the front of the sole - two notches for cuts at an angle of 90 and 45 degrees. In addition, the saw is equipped with a parallel stop and can be used with guide rails. The capacious case simplifies storage of a saw, its accessories, consumables and accompanying tools, and their transportation.

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

The sixth Makita tool bought on the market. and never had a warranty card. After urgent demands through Tech. Pod. sent the completed coupon to the post office by registered mail. I hope they will send it in this case too.

  • Makita is a brand that has been tired for years. I only use Makita. There is almost the entire range of this brand. Repair of an apartment, a summer residence. For personal needs, even more than required. But it's better to use a good tool)

  • Good saw, very light and powerful. When I started building a house, I realized that I didn’t know how to cut straight with a chainsaw.
