I doubted it would be a strong mount but honestly it surprised me. The suction cup has been moved twice and is still holding up well. The mount itself is strong enough to handle rough roads with ease, as long as you make sure the neck threads are tight enough. It can also be installed in air vents, but I haven't used it that way, so I can't comment on that. The handle itself can be rotated horizontally or vertically as desired. There's quite a bit of movement in the neck area too, so you can adjust it in just the right spot. Place the bracket where you want it, then loosen the screws to adjust the neck and the part that holds your phone. Adjust them where you like, then tighten the screws (they're not real screws, I don't know what they're called) to hold them in place. After that nothing changes. The only problems I had was when I started using it. 1. You need to press and hold the unlock button to fully open the phone grip. 2. When you put your phone in and close the grips, squeeze it well so you know it's as closed as possible. Otherwise your phone may fall out. I have 2 phones - a Samsung A20 for business and a cheap ZTE for personal use - and it holds both with no issues. In fact, I just made a trip from Texas to South Dakota with no mountain issues. It's held up really well even on Oklahoma roads that need repairs lol. All in all it was a really good purchase which I will make again. My husband is an OTR truck driver and as soon as he saw the mount in my car he wanted to fit it for the truck instead of what he had! Drivers, it works very well in a truck and withstands drops and falls very well! Be safe out there, y'all!
