Remote control for Mac and PC

I am a Mac user and I use Apple Keynote (primary) and Microsoft Powerpoint (secondary). I bought it for my office because the Apple Keynote companion app (Keynote Remote) could no longer connect to my computer via Wi-Fi (and still never connects via Bluetooth). This little thing is just a find. It's simple, ergonomic and doesn't feel flimsy. The buttons are rubber rather than plastic, so they feel solid in your hand. The controls are so simple that even the most tech-savvy person can handle it. The added benefits of a laser and a dimmer button make it essential for conferences and performances. Not many people have talked about switching from Mac to PC, so I'll cover it here: This remote connects and works. for PC and Mac. There is no need to install drivers or use a setup wizard. What's more, the remote works with any active application - meaning if you're using a Mac and have both Keynote and PowerPoint open, it will work seamlessly with whatever application is currently active and visible on your desktop. What does that mean exactly? This means that if you are the main user hosting a conference and one of your colleagues has a PowerPoint file, you can use the same remote control on the same computer for both applications. Just switch apps and the remote works. No fuss, no fuss. The only problem with this remote control is making sure that nobody in the office hides it on the desk.
