It works fine for a while and then one day you wake up and the POWER LIGHT STARTS FLASHING! They do a 30-30-30 reset and follow the instructions to update the firmware (using a modem to connect directly to the internet) but nothing works. THE DEATH POWER LIGHT CONTINUES FLASHING. So you call NETGEAR and they say your product is not covered by phone support, but they CAN SOLVE THE PROBLEM if you PAY $179.99 for 2 years of support. I explained that buying a new router would be cheaper, so they offered to help me out for $139.99 for 1 year of support! What a bang! I have never called NETGEAR and will never call again. That $140 router is junk now. I just bought a new router from TP-LINK and I'm very happy with it so far. Sorry NETGEAR, but you've lost a loyal customer!
