The chipset, if it is a real Fresco Logic chip, works fine. The problem is that Cable Creation doesn't have a driver. Going to the Fresco Logic site does not show the FL2000DX driver at all. You can try other similar ones that bring the monitor to life but don't give you the option to adjust the resolution. After 2 months and about 6 emails I still have 3 of these cables running at 600-800 max and no other display mode option. E-mails sent via the website will not be answered. Judging by the horrible spelling mistakes on their website, English isn't their forte. I really want someone from their company to post a direct link to the correct driver in the product description. YUP! I'm using a USB 3.0 port.
