After major abdominal surgery I needed some tape to hold my gauze bandages in place. I have to try more than 6 types of bands. All of this left my sensitive skin red, irritated and some even flaky! My doctor used this on one of my visits to her office. She told me it was the best! Should also use it over my stitches. I'm mostly healed now, but to give the seams extra support I'm taping them all the way around. Stick with it and don't hurt removing it. A good thing! So glad to have found this. All of these little things are important during a long recovery.
