These OEM bags are worth the extra cost as they have a rubber seal around the inlet to keep dust in the bag and are made of thick fabric that expands evenly under vacuum to filter out dust. The regular ones I bought here are paper and don't have a rubber seal so the dirt will blow back out of the bag and cover the outside of the cleaner. I have a Hoover T-Series WindTunnel vacuum with a UH30300 corded vertical bag that did very well when tested in a major consumer magazine, but I guarantee it would have been poorly priced if tested with a cheap bag would have been. Unsealed paper bags allow dirt to blow back out of the bag, and this dust clogs the vacuum cleaner's exhaust filters.
