Without thinking, I bought these as a cheap option to get some significant lighting for video recording. Don't do it! These are AC power directly to the lights, so you will get banding in your video that is very difficult to get rid of due to the 60 Hz AC flicker. Not a fault of the lights, just my own incompetence. Instead I bought some LED lights with DC power adapter.In any case these will do the trick at least from a brightness perspective. They are very white on the spectrum and can light up a substantial area very well. They do run HOT though. There is a significant amount of metal on the back with some fins to dissipate heat. So if using indoors don't think because they're LED they won't emit a lot of head, because they will.There are two 8.25mm dia mounting holes on the sides (slightly larger than 5/16"). There is a center 5/16" (8mm) mounting hole on the bracket so you can mount it on a traditional 1/4" tripod as well if desired. And two approx. one inch x 8mm wide slots in between each set of holes, so there's ample mounting options.There was no mounting hardware in the box, so you have to get your own, but not a big deal considering most mounting hardware included with things these days are garbage anyhow, and usually better off getting your own anyhow.
