These little USB-C docks are amazing and work as expected with my 2017 MacBook Pro circa 2017. multiple cartridges. Came with a cooler with a very philosophical inscription "Energy and Perseverance conquers all". I appreciate that feeling, but neither power nor endurance helped this dock connect my 2015 MacBook to my 4K display. I had high hopes of using it for 4K @ 60Hz on my Macbook circa 2015, but the HDMI connection doesn't work with my display and I can't even get it to work at 30Hz (like I do with other adapters). Note the limited compatibility with older MacBooks despite the USB-C port. All in all, I can only recommend this adapter. Love the incredibly small form factor and the ability to finally get 4K @ 60Hz, just make sure your PC is compatible or HDMI doesn't work.
