cannot program itself.

Better value adjusters than these, I should have done more research. I wanted something when upgrading my truck to be able to fine tune. This programmer demands that you get a professional tune from someone else for quite a bit of money. Cam Swap and Headers I had to buy a tune online and load it into the reader. Programming software that you have to pay a lot of money for. obviously this is great for pre-made tunes.
