This is the third e-collar I have received in just a few months. The former seemed to have a mind of its own, as well as a very annoying sleep pattern. I have submitted a review which you can read by just clicking on my name. Next was the Sporthund 1225. It worked fine for a few weeks, then the shock stopped working. I had to turn it off and on again for it to work. I watched a YouTube video about it and noticed that what seems to be the best video has the trainer holding this yellow thing as well. I tested it and got one. So far this has worked except once and it was a collar/contact issue. Something must be wrong with me because the instructions were very clear and I programmed this thing in just a few minutes. I switched to a lapel collar. I also like the charger. Mini USB on the transmitter and a standard 5V jack on the collar. A sporting dog uses its own plugs. So if you forget your charger, you're out of luck. Plus we were on the river and got stuck in the rain - yes it's waterproof. LED light is also helpful. I forgot to mention that it comes with software for your computer. Just plug the mini USB into the transmitter and run the software. 4 stars so far. I'll edit in a few months. I give 5 stars (08/27/18)
