I was very hesitant to buy this game for my grandson especially as it was MUCH cheaper than other sets I was considering! I had to watch a few videos on YouTube to understand how to play, I'm a visual gamer. But between the great instructions that came with the game and the video, it was easy to navigate. We don't have a lot of lawns in Las Vegas, so we play on a gravel driveway. The pieces of wood hold up perfectly, although they have dents and stone chips. I suggest playing on the grass as the game is meant to be used. I wish the bag was made out of a more durable material but it held up without tearing or ripping. We're from Scandinavia, which is where the game comes from when you research it, which is why we call the parts skull and thighs. We love to play! Even the neighbors came to play and buy a set! I love it so much and will buy another set for us!
