If you have a Dodge Ram with an AAM 11.5 rear axle and the outer seal is leaking on both sides (the back of the tire is covered in oil) get one this seal. I searched for a long time before I bought this one. Mopar's website was confusing as it either didn't list it or didn't say which seal to get. I wrote to Diesel Truck Resource asking for their help and they referred me to the Timken. A quick check on their website gave the correct part number. Skip the dealership, grab this seal and the AMPRO T72047 Wheel Bearing Locknut Tool and do the repair yourself in a couple of hours. You don't need a paper washer for the outer sleeve either, just use Permetex 'The Right Stuff' washer maker and blue threadlocker on the screws and you're done in no time!
