I bought this to adapt a 20lb CO2 bottle to carbonated water, juice etc. I like that I can adjust and block the outlet pressure. I confess that I had to look at the manual to set the pressure gauge. It's not just a matter of turning the knob as it's designed to lock in place as a safeguard against accidental adjustments. The controller was easy to install and the instructions were clear and simple. I adjusted the regulator (to about 40# outlet pressure) and got about twenty small bottles filled [with a carbonator cap and a [Brew Werks] barbed ball top. It was a good buy. For reference only, if you are using a carbonizer cap, please note that not all single-use bottles cap it. The seltzer water bottles worked well and I'm sure many others did as well.
