As a hobbyist I love to create little "art/steam punk" pieces using 1/2" copper tubing and fittings. My propane torch isn't hot enough to solder the connections so I use solder instead. Since the solder diameter is only 0.03 inch, I can precisely control the amount of solder. It melts quickly and flows smoothly. The two joints shown in the photo are soldered with a flashlight, but the solder is not visible. This product is also much easier to use than lead-free solder. It also works very well with a small, low-powered soldering iron.
