Review on JACO BikePro Bike Tire Pressure Gauge - 60 PSI (MTB Series) with Presta and Schrader Air Chucks by Chad Judex

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Failure after 5 days of use

After 5 days it no longer holds the pressure on the gauge - this is an air leak. But that's just one part of the story. I originally ordered this JACO BikePro with a short line and Presta and Schrader valve chucks. The box received was correct but the pressure gauge inside was a JACO Elite which had no line and Presta valve cartridge/adapter. It seems that manufacturers mistakenly put a cheaper product in the packaging of a slightly more expensive product. I reported the fault to Revain and they sent the correct sensor the next day - even before the UPS store opened so I could send the first one back. It was impressive. The correct pressure gauge came and it seemed to work pretty well. It read a pound less than other gauges I have. The arc and psi readings on the face of the meter are too close to the edge. You cannot read the numbers by looking directly at the sensor. Tilt the sensor to read under the edge to solve this problem. This is not an obstacle, but JACO can improve it. After all, the JACO Elite Sensor, which I mistakenly received first, didn't have this problem. I thought it felt solid but after only 5 days it fails.
