I purchased this filter along with the iSping RCC1UP-AK 7-Stage Reverse Osmosis Drinking Filtration System. There were some issues with the taste of the water. To our surprise, following his instructions to test the tank, Nick from customer service sent a replacement tank and a full set of filters and the problem was not entirely resolved. Perhaps the alkaline filter released too many ions into the first few glasses of water. Water. Tested on water for TDS and PH. TDS is around 290-300 and PH 11 and that makes the water taste weird. If you run the faucet for about a minute, the taste is great. TDS drops to around 30-35 and PH 9.5. We didn't use the drain filter because leaving the tap open every time just to get rid of the strong taste would be in vain. PH without alkaline filter is around 8-9 and TDS around 10-15. That's enough for us. Overall I have to say this is a good company with excellent support.
