Bottles are fine for carbonation but I have found that once the cap is on I have to open them slowly and carefully to get the Release pressure otherwise the pressure will release with a sudden powerful pop that can actually knock the cap out of my hands if I don't get a firm grip. Sometimes this happens after taking the bottle out of the fridge and warming it up a bit. As the liquid warms up, it can hold less CO2 and comes out of solution, increasing headspace pressure. I have to say that I start with cold water to get a little more fizz and this can't happen if you start with room temperature water. The rest of the bottles are fine.
