Review on Generalaire 5720 GeneralAire 900A Humidifier by Dawn Wright

Good simple device. Supplied with a good automatic hygrostat, transformer and a pair of water valves. I ended up not using a transformer or valves. I used the 24 volt supply from the oven transformer and a sail switch I bought separately to control the unit rather than risk tying it to the oven control board. With a sail switch, water will only start when it's on and air is flowing into the firebox. Both water valves are for copper plumbing systems and my plumbing is PEX so I just bought a PEX valve to connect to my plumbing lines. The device does not include any cables or pipes for installation.
