Heating exactly as advertised

Failed to load media. I give 5 stars because it does what it's supposed to. It's not a magical feature-rich hair dryer, but I'm not entirely sure they exist. We have this to remove this protective sticker on our machine. Goes through the whole nose. It's a good concept, but in recent years it's started to crack and discolor. The exact opposite of what you want the front of your car to look like. There is both metal and plastic in the nose of the machine, so controlling the temperature is important. In a heat gun like this, you basically move them around. The trigger has two temperature settings and a fan speed dial. The wheel seems reversed, but it makes sense. The lower the fan speed, the hotter the air. I believe the glue starts to soften at around 160 to 200F. So that should have heated the sticker fast enough for me to keep scratching. It had to stay cool enough so that the plastic parts of the case didn't warp and the paint didn't bubble. This is easy to achieve with this heat gun. She definitely gets a lot hotter than I used her in the video. It was just a low heat setting with the fan running pretty fast. The instructions say not to use it on hair and not to point it at yourself. That's good advice. With this weapon you can burn yourself quite quickly and badly. Almost as fast as you could burn yourself with a torch. I'm pretty sure you could burn off the paint if you wanted to. But it has enough control that someone with little experience can use it successfully for most tasks.
