As others have mentioned the screws pictured are not supplied which is fine with me as I prefer to drill holes and use what came with the kit. The screws that come with the kit are fine if you install them correctly. The problem is that there are no instructions in the kit and many people need them. If so, just place the plate in the right place, mark the centers of the holes with a hole punch if you have one, or mark with a marker. I like to start with a small bit, like a 1/8" bit so I don't lose the 11/32 bit when I drill the hole. Then the screw on the plate. The screws will work just fine. If your hole is too small they won't work, no matter what screw you choose, the hole will be too big and the screw won't cut the steel enough. The mount works as intended and was the best value of all.
