I originally took this paper to try alcohol markers when I was experimenting with quick 2-3 minute character drawings on special marker paper that is smooth. I just wanted to see what I prefer. This multimedia paper is amazing. It absorbs the marker and looks a lot smoother without all the smudges and lines that marker paper leaves, but I was looking for a messier look, so I'm sticking with marker paper for this particular activity. However, I just ordered some watercolor pencils to complete these quick figure drawings with this paper. It's so pretty that it's spiral bound and perforated. I wish there was marker paper. And if I decide to use my markers to create more elaborate character drawings instead of these quick, sketchy drawings, I have this notebook ready.
