True poster and honestly tested this thermostat!. No fake review.

I bought this thermostat for my 2006 Chevy Colorado Xtreme. This is not a true 180 degree thermostat. The thermostat, as he himself said, was made in Mexico. It is in order! Keeps the price low for all of us who need it. But they measure in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. My thermostat has a stamp on it. Say 90', that's Celsius. If you do the math, it's 194 degrees Fahrenheit. The price is less than most of the thermostats here, but this is not a real 180 degree thermostat, this is 100% fake! I tested it in boiling water with a thermometer and a laser thermometer, this thermostat doesn't even close at 180 degrees, at 180 it's actually all the way closed. It started to open a little at 190 and will open fully at 200+. This is a regular thermostat. You can get away with listing it as 180 degrees, but when you test it, it's not at all. I even went as far as mounting it on my truck and using a scanner and a laser thermometer to see where my operating temperature would be. with the truck fully warmed up, and here in California it's always over 215 depending on the day. This means the truck's temp gauge is over half the mark, which to me isn't cool. If I pay for a 180 degree thermostat, I want it. None of them are listed in degrees Celsius! The included alignment and rubber pad fits perfectly, just like it came from the factory. I removed the thermostat and used those as parts to make a true 180 degree Fahrenheit thermostat. Now my truck at full operating temp is 192.2 .AC at 195.2 . Outside temperature 90+. For the Colorado, that's halfway to full operating temperature. Stant needs to research before posting!
