2006 Hummer H3: Engine Cooling and Climate Control

CEL was on because of a bad thermostat but I left it on for years. Engine temp was always a quarter, now with this new thermostat just over a half! The engine has never run better! The heat is also much stronger!

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

After further research on the Stant website, the model number is .

After further research on the Stant website, the model number is actually a 190ยฐ thermostat that I was able to find locally. I am very interested in the original 180ยฐ thermostat which is very hard to find and advertises thermostat inaccurately

Pros
  • very impressive
Cons
  • minor

You sent the wrong thermostat in a box with the wrong label!

I just ordered it and it arrived today. I had my truck ready to have it replaced so I was very surprised and disappointed when I opened the box labeled Stant and found NOT a Stant but a Mahle. Truth. How could I not notice? I ordered the Stant because they have to be made in the USA and they have a good reputation. This shows made in Mexico. Having removed the old thermostat when the part arrived, I feel like I'm stuck in the replacement process, but I'll see how it happens. Very disappointed!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • little things

True poster and honestly tested this thermostat!. No fake review.

I bought this thermostat for my 2006 Chevy Colorado Xtreme. This is not a true 180 degree thermostat. The thermostat, as he himself said, was made in Mexico. It is in order! Keeps the price low for all of us who need it. But they measure in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. My thermostat has a stamp on it. Say 90', that's Celsius. If you do the math, it's 194 degrees Fahrenheit. The price is less than most of the thermostats here, but this is not a real 180 degree thermostat, this is 100% fake! I tested

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some small things
