As usual, I've researched diligently for a comparable replacement. This V5.0 headset was at the top of the list from the start, which I kept shortening as the features/price of this headset continued to outperform the competition. Turns out, breaking the other was the best thing that happened. Otherwise I would not have come across this headset. The feather-light headset has a high-quality finish and comes in a very practical case with 3 sets of comfortable gel ear tips. Earaches from the wrong earplugs are one of the biggest annoyances, right? If at least one of the three sizes doesn't fit you, you must be an alien, not a human. ; ) The device connects instantly and has extremely simple and convenient controls that don't interfere with other buttons/functions, which can be a nightmare. The volume is superb as is the excellent dual noise cancellation with 2 HD mics for talking or music which was a big plus for me. If you're in the middle of a noisy rest stop with lots of screaming men and trucks/devices running, the headset might not be able to handle the noise cancellation. However, for normal life situations and traffic, the clarity is surprisingly crisp and clear. It's actually landline quality most of the time, except in extreme situations. One of the most notable features is fast charging and ultra-long battery life. Being dependent on your phone all day means a reliable battery is a must. The short battery life is crucial for me. USB takes longer, but *magnetic charging is very fast at just 1.5-2 hours. This ability is especially useful in an emergency. Just 10 minutes of charging is enough for 2 hours of use. I've had other much more expensive headsets that don't do this or even come close to the functionality and efficiency of this headset. A simple 180-degree rotation allows the headset to be used on either ear, and the microphone position is equally adjustable. I'm sure there are more that I haven't addressed, but you get the point. This headset is great. Do not be shy. Buy one while you can.
