These tire changers are great for smaller tires on small powered equipment like a snow blower or something as simple as a wheelbarrow. I've noticed a significant difference between these 12" irons and the 10" set I have. For starters, this one is just as strong and maneuverable as the smaller set, but with a little more leverage that has proven useful a few times. One complaint I have is that the iron's hook is a bit sharper than I like. So be careful when you have a tube in your tire and don't accidentally poke a hole in it.
