Good tool bag irons

For the price and for our needs they were good. I was looking for a pry bar set that was inexpensive, small, and light enough to fit in a tool bag on the go, but strong enough to get the job done. I've used them twice (on 18" and 21" off-road bike tires) and they've worked well. I felt I had to be a little careful (but not too much) not to bend them, which I would expect from such small and light irons.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Some little things

Not bad for me!

These are poor quality tools with some signs of mold but I don't make a living changing bike tires so they should keep me good. If you race or ride extreme bikes, you might need something better. They are made of cast steel and are great for people who like to drive and don't wear out the tires often. They are exactly what I need for my bike. I'll change a tire every year or two, so I don't need anything better for my application.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great with 21 " front off-road tires and 19 " rear tires

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because these irons damage my aluminum rims. However, I have yet to find a set that doesn't do damage like irons do I think. Also, the metal is cheap foreign steel, so they're a little more flexible than I'd like. 3 irons are great for a tire that isn't very stiff, but if you're changing a rear tire on a dirt bike I recommend having 2 sets, 3 irons just won't cut it.

Nice iron but be careful with the tube.

These tire changers are great for smaller tires on small powered equipment like a snow blower or something as simple as a wheelbarrow. I've noticed a significant difference between these 12" irons and the 10" set I have. For starters, this one is just as strong and maneuverable as the smaller set, but with a little more leverage that has proven useful a few times. One complaint I have is that the iron's hook is a bit sharper than I like. So be careful when you have a tube in your tire and don't

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Suitable for motorcycle tires

Has worked well so far. I bought these to change the tires on my Harley Heritage Softail Classic 02. 16 inch tubular tires. I'm glad I bought this kit because it had 3 instead of 2. The third definitely worked. They look cheap but after using them I would say they are decent quality steel. They flexed fairly well under my full weight (5ft 11in and 320lbs) and they didn't break. While you can use these to replace a car or truck tire, I'll likely use them for motorcycle tires or smaller. In my…

Ideal for off-road tires. No bending

The advantage is that this crowbar is ideal for changing motorcycle tires. I bought 6 and it's not essential but worth it. You don't need longer if you don't have tire changing technology. These irons will also NOT bend unless you change the tire properly again. The bad thing about them is the quality control. He is not there. The lengths of 6 adjacent to each other vary up to 1/2 the most extreme values. Second, some are thicker than others and some are curved more aggressively. I clamped mine
