I love the Hiboy NEX Electric Scooter. While it isn't the fastest (limited to 9 MPH), it has dual braking, thumb throttle and dual front lighting. The scooter has style. As well, the 150W motor actually moved my 205 pound body on a ride, but didn't go very fast.The 3 biggest things I judge on a scooter is acceleration, braking and suspension. With the Hiboy NEX Electric Scooter, it nails 2 out of 3 of those, as it lacks suspension. At this price, it really should have better suspension, or some suspension. Acceleration is smooth though and braking is very smooth, allowing for electronic braking with the left thumb or back braking on the rear fender.The Hiboy NEX Electric Scooter is very well made. The metals are thick, folding is easy enough that your kids shouldn't have any issues, but it is a bit heavy (at almost 25 pounds).The Hiboy NEX Electric Scooter has dual front lighting and back flashing lighting, making the scooter easier to spot than some others. As well, the dual front lighting includes a cool looking triangle light that gives the scooter style.The max speed on the Hiboy NEX Electric Scooter is only 9 MPH, which is good for many kids, but may not be enough for some teens.All-in-all, the Hiboy NEX Electric Scooter is a well made electric scooter for many kids. I think it is perfect for tweens. Anyone older may want the next level of scooter though.
