I bought these boots to replace the Wolverine Raiders which I completely wore out while working in the yard. After wearing new boots for a few days they seem good except for one major design flaw. The gusset tongue gusset and inner rivets of the bottom lace hook are positioned to rub against the top of the ankle when the laces are securely tied. I solved the problem for me by not using the bottom lanyard hook. But I hope Wolverine recognizes this problem and solves it more comprehensively by moving the bottom tip rivets and where the gusset is sewn to the boot body.
