Review on 🦎 Exo Terra Short All Glass Terrarium - Compact 18x18x12-Inch Enclosure by Megan Hanson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

All in all I couldn't be happier!

I have to admit that I was hesitant at first to buy a glass aquarium by mail order. I couldn't find that size locally (i.e. short 18x18) so I went with it. The price was very reasonable compared to local pet shops for similar aquariums, which is pretty impressive considering they had to supply it too. I would definitely order from this supplier again. About the terrarium: It's a great size for a small/male ball python, PERFECT for a leopard gecko or two, and really just great for lots of small terrestrial reptiles or turtles (although the water is maybe only about 3 inches deep. I've been using aquariums since many years due to its cost but this terrarium is great I love how it is raised a bit to put a heater under the tank below (I recommend the Fluker brand that hooks up to a thermostat) It lasts the temperature very well, although I needed to cover part of the screen cover to achieve an ambient temperature of 80ΒΊ F for my ball python using a ceramic radiant heater and heat mat. The screen cover is secured with four separate locks and there are slots on the Back for cables (and these slots can be closed). The closure on the front is se It's efficient and I've had no problems with it. I painted three sides of this terrarium black so my snake I was happy and it looks great. I will definitely be buying another Exo Terra the next time I want to have an aquarium for my animals. The only bad thing about this aquarium is the background. While some commercially available backgrounds look realistic and gorgeous, this one looked a lot like styrofoam (which it is).
