Ordered two 18x18x12 tanks. Both arrived scratched. I ordered replacements for both and the first replacement arrived today. I didn't even have to open it to realize it was broken because I can hear the glass moving inside. I opened it anyway and sure enough, broken glass is all over the box. When I ordered the cage I didn't really think it would come intact, but it came! What I did was ask Amazon to also hide what the item was which meant there were 3 protective boxes. I have had this tank since November (2018) now. My male leopard gecko loves it. He can dig and always climbs on the foam backing that comes with the tank. Nothing was broken upon receipt. There is enough space in the aquarium so that my gecko will never need a bigger one. He is very happy and easy to feed. I just open the doors and he comes right up to me to eat. I have to admit that I was hesitant at first to buy a glass aquarium by mail order. I couldn't find that size locally (i.e. short 18x18) so I went with it. Chic tank! I love its design, it has holes on the back for easy wiring which saved my life. The only problem with this tank is that it is difficult to clean. The doors are above a glass section, making that section very difficult to clean. Also, you need to make sure everything is cleaned to keep your pet healthy and climbing between the cracks is difficult.
