My daughter is very petite (always 10th percentile for height/weight) and 6 years old. She usually wears a size 4 and for small items she wears a size 5. I wear a size 4-6. I thought it should fit perfectly but it turned out to be tiny. She could barely pull it over her shoulders! We'll send it back. Either order one size larger or choose another item.
