Great alarm clock because it has an on/off slider.

Simple. Functional. Availability. When things get so unnecessarily complicated, it's nice to see such a handy device. Best Feature: Turning the alarm on and off is a slider. NO other button that can accidentally turn off when you take a nap. That happened to me! That's why I bought exactly THIS replacement. And the slider requires considerable effort to move to the OFF position. exactly how it should be!
