These LED lights are excellent. They come with all the necessary hardware to plug them into an outlet. The LEDs are attached to a paper strip with a self-adhesive backing. These LEDs are not encased in silicone. They are intended for indoor use only. I attached them to the back of the TV. The 16 foot strip was long enough to attach to the perimeter of the back of my 50 inch TV. The excess length can simply be cut off with scissors at the point marked on the LED strip. These LEDs are adjustable. I've included a video of the LEDs changing between pre-programmed colors and modes using the included remote control.
