Review on Sunsong 3403679 High-Performance 🔧 Power Steering Pressure Line Hose Assembly by Cody Siger

In September (2020) I decided to buy a 'fun car' for my wife and I to have fun. We didn't want to spend a lot, and since we both already had reliable cars, we decided to buy a 2008 G37 coupe. Little did I know I actually bought the G37 Journey with the sport package (in fact the G37S has a standard gearbox instead of the 5 speed automatic I have). After almost a year of running the car, the power steering line began to fail. Leaks, I called my mechanic who offered a $858 hose replacement (parts and labor). A good friend and I decided to take up this challenge as instead I went to my local auto parts store and picked up the line (for $185). When we took the leash off, we found that the leash I bought at the parts store was about 8 inches shorter than the one that was installed in the car. So we stopped and waited until the next day. I contacted the dealer the next morning (as every parts dealer had the same range) and after providing the VIN they informed me that the range had been discontinued and that the only way to buy it was to get the entire power steering hose kit for 457 dollars to buy . I was also told that my car has active four wheel steering and that finding an aftermarket line would be difficult. (Oh no, it's not!) In desperation, I ordered a Sunsong 3403679 Power Steering Pressure Line Hose Assembly. I decided I had nothing to lose. I also ordered from the dealer to be on the safe side. The Sunsong line was first, and like the parts store, it was also 8 inches shorter. When the goods came from the dealer, I took them. Well, he was TOO 8 inches shorter. I asked the dealer if he made a mistake. After a little research they informed me that the line in my car was original and that Infiniti had modified the line to be 8 inches shorter. Try to figure out I would lose $97 if it didn't work, but if it did work I would get my $457 back. Well, didn't you know that! The Sunsong line was perfect! I saved $360 on the Sunsong line (which was also cheaper than auto parts stores). My car runs with no leaks. This line fits the 2008 G37S and G37 Journey with Sport Pack so please ensure it fits your specific G37. (The note says: Notes: with sport or sport premium package, 4 wheel active steering, 49710JK62C-pr) I will try to update this review in a year, hoping all will be well, but at the moment i am very satisfied satisfied.
