Review on Enhanced Precision with RO LY 100 125 Grinder Support by Will Kern

Revainrating 3 out of 5

OK, just cut. The plastic case doesn't cut much.

Suitable for grinding. I found the instructions completely wrong and confusing. Even the picture shows the mounting bolts with nuts on the wrong side. Fortunately, some have already been collected. There is a bill of materials but calling a bolt a screw etc. The picture is not very accurate. They draw a facsimile of the detail. Enough, if anything. Through trial and error I was able to construct it. Blade guard forgotten in my case. I use it for metal. I'm not going to place a piece of flimsy plastic barely hanging from a long bolt anywhere near the blade. I liked the original grinder blade guard better and just modified it. The handle is also barely passable, so I used the original coffee grinder handle. After assembly I have to adjust the square of the cut with about 4 different settings. My problem is that the actual axis that the device rotates on is moving! Just a millimeter or so, but that makes the blade wobble. There are no hard limits here! I'm going to put some large brass washers around the plastic rings and on the sides to reduce movement. Hopefully I can find a bigger collar so the axle doesn't move anymore. Wish me luck. You can see the light when you hold the plastic case. (I wish I knew!). Updated: I drilled a .38" (9.7mm) diameter hole in the washer and flattened the plastic bushing flush with the lever. The saw does not work. I added a large magnet to hold the #3 hex keys needed for adjustment.
