In fact, I chose it because I thought a heavier base would make it more stable and easier to use. Suitable for grinding. I found the instructions completely wrong and confusing. Even the picture shows the mounting bolts with nuts on the wrong side. Fortunately, some have already been collected. There is a bill of materials but calling a bolt a screw etc. The picture is not very accurate. They draw a facsimile of the detail. Enough, if anything.
