This was pretty much what I expected and other reviewers are right about the terrible assembly instructions. But my biggest problem is that the grinder holder is sold with a cast iron base. In fact, I chose it because I thought a heavier base would make it more stable and easier to use. Unfortunately it does NOT come with a cast iron base but a stamped steel base like everything else in this price range. When assembling, sort all the parts in the package by type and size, and use both the assembly "instructions" and the photos of the assembled unit in the item listing to assemble it. The manual itself, including its exploded views, will require you to reassemble it multiple times to get it right. Also, don't rely on the angle guide to set the square or a specific angle; Use a protractor, triangle, or protractor to set it up and check the setting before making any important cuts.
