Review on πŸ”Œ Storage Theory Power Perch: Horizontal Wall Outlet Shelf for Easy Organization and Cord Management - White 1-Pack by Kathy Genova

You may need to purchase a different socket cover or modify your own to fit

I bought this for a sophisticated Google Home mini. The socket cover was GFI and I had to trim it down a bit to fit the shelf. It didn't fit due to the rounded edges on the inside. Longer screws would have helped, but my socket cover was square and the edges on the inside where it should sit are rounded. I want it to be flat, like the bottom edge of the shelf. I could maybe buy a smaller outlet cover? I'm sure it would be easier to install it on a standard outlet. The horizontal orientation of my outlet limited my options. It would be nice to be able to order different colors. Google Home mini is great for him. I placed it high up in the room next to an elevated outlet that also has a camera plugged into it. I could have put a camera on it if I hadn't fixed it to the wall. The Google device generated strong interference when placed near other electronic devices and the TV. Now it's about six inches from the ceiling and works great. I ordered a shorter cable for this so that the excess does not hang out.

Pros
  • CABLE GUIDE. Avoid unwanted dangling cords by storing them neatly and avoiding unsightly dangling cords. The Power Perch design features an unobtrusive cord opening so your favorite devices can stay charged or connected at all times.
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
